US Suddenly Allows Russian Oil Exports, What's the Agenda? 🤔
The U.S. Treasury Department just announced that it will allow already-shipped Russian oil to continue being sold, but emphasized this is only a "short-term measure." This decision came somewhat unexpectedly, and the market is speculating about the true intentions behind it.
To be honest, I think this looks more like a tactical compromise. Oil prices have been hovering at elevated levels recently, and the U.S. may need to temporarily relieve supply pressure. However, the word "short-term" is used quite subtly, indicating that the policy could tighten at any moment.
What do you all think this will have on the crypto market? Could oil price fluctuations drive BTC movement?
