Someone drained $34 million from Harvest Finance in 7 minutes and then quietly sent $2.5 million back
In October 2020 an attacker borrowed $50 million through flash loans and used it to manipulate USDC/USDT prices on Curve
This caused Harvest Finance's vaults to repeatedly buy at inflated prices and sell at deflated prices
$34 million drained in 7 minutes across multiple transactions
The attack was so heavy it caused Uniswap's trade volume to spike from $148 million to $1 billion in 24 hours and 92% of it came from just two trading pairs
The attacker then sent $2.5 million back to the Harvest deployer address with no message and no explanation
