Gnosis Co-Founder Friederike Ernst and Zisk Founder Jordi Baylina announced a new "easy" program at the Cannes EthCC conference: the Ethereum Economic Zone #震荡行情交易策略 EEZ(. This initiative, co-funded by the Ethereum Foundation, aims to create a framework that allows Rollups to synchronize and compose with the Ethereum mainnet within a single transaction and interact with each other.
The design philosophy of EEZ is to enable smart contracts connected on Rollup to call contracts on the mainnet or other EEZ Rollups, providing the same guarantees as those deployed directly on Ethereum. The framework uses ETH as the default gas token, eliminating the need for additional bridging infrastructure.
