A new week begins! After last week's gold bottomed out and rebounded, the trend shifted from a deep correction to a wide-range fluctuation. The daily chart did not show consecutive bullish days, so it’s still too early to catch the bottom. Last Friday’s closing price was somewhat strong, but a morning pullback still pushed the bulls back to reality, so the short-term momentum is not strong. However, after the price quickly found a bottom in the morning and rebounded, the overall pattern remains wide-ranging.

Therefore, this afternoon, you can first rely on the short-term resistance around 4525 to go short, with a stop loss at 4546, and targets at 4470 and 4430.
