Many people don't lose in the market because of the market itself, but because they "don't know how to keep using the money they've earned" #NOM
Do you ever feel this way: you finally make a profit on one trade, but the next trade loses it all back, back and forth, your account always stuck in the same place #STO
It's not that your strategy is wrong; it's that you simply don't know how to "roll your position"
I used to be the same way
Whenever I saw an opportunity, I would jump in; when prices dropped, I would add more. Eventually, I’d lose my mind, and a single mistake would wipe me out
That’s when I realized one thing — the market isn’t hard; I was just trading my life for experience
Later, someone pointed out a sentence to me: Stop gambling with your principal, use your profits to amplify your position
That’s when I truly understood
Rolling your position isn’t about going all-in and doubling up, but about gradually scaling up on the right trades
My current approach is very simple:
Start with a small position to test the direction; if right, use the "profits" to add more;
If wrong, cut it quickly, never touch the core position.
To put it plainly: principal is life, profits are bullets
In a market like #UAI , many people go all-in right away, only to get shaken out after a couple of swings
I prefer to start with a small position, and as things go smoothly, gradually add more. The more it rises, the larger the position; the more it falls, the lighter the position
This way, you’ll find something very satisfying:
Once the market moves in your favor, you’re "earning more and more";
If the market doesn’t move right, you only suffer small losses, which won’t hurt your core
That’s what rolling your position means
It’s not about gambling to turn things around; it’s about stacking profits layer by layer
I’ve seen too many people grow their accounts from a few thousand dollars to tens of thousands, not by luck, but by strictly following this method
And where do most people get stuck?
They get nervous after earning a little, hold on to losses, and lose their rhythm
Honestly, this market never rewards impulsive people; it only rewards those who trade with rhythm
If you’re still messing around, holding onto positions poorly, and not making consistent profits, the problem is right here #BTC market
I don’t talk about fancy tricks; I only share methods that help you survive and gradually grow
