🍿 ZachXBT has heavily criticized Circle, stating that the company has been failing its own "compliance" for years — since 2022, there have been at least 15 incidents with losses exceeding $420 million, where Circle could have frozen the stolen USDC but responded too late or did nothing at all.

The main example is the recent Drift Protocol hack: the hacker quietly withdrew $230 million in USDC through the Circle bridge over six hours, while the company took no action.

ZachXBT also reminded of similar delays after the Nomad Bridge and Mango Markets hacks, noting that even Tether usually reacts faster in such situations.
