Odaily Planet Daily reports: On the 6th, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement saying that Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian had a phone call with Qatar’s prime minister and foreign minister, Mohammed. They discussed the latest developments in the region, the consequences of the U.S. and Israel’s aggression against Iran, and bilateral relations between Iran and Qatar. Amir-Abdollahian said that the current situation is entirely the result of the military actions launched by the U.S. and Israel against Iran. Amir-Abdollahian said that, under international law, countries have an obligation to prevent other countries from using their territory to carry out military actions against other states, and that the countries in the region should work in unison to promote peace and security. According to a statement released by the Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed urged all parties to respect international law and emphasized that a comprehensive and durable diplomatic solution is the only option for resolving the crisis.
