Diagrams like these continue to
circulate, and it’s easy to see why people believe them. They offer certainty in a market that rarely gives any.
But markets have never moved on fixed timelines, and they never will.
I’m not saying they’re useless, but relying on them is where people get trapped.
Cycles do exist.
Accumulation, expansion, euphoria, distribution, panic. That structure is real.
What isn’t real is assigning exact years
to those phases and expecting the market to follow it. Price is driven by liquidity, sentiment, and positioning, all of which change in real time.
Use it as a framework, not a forecast.
The moment you treat it like a roadmap, you either become exit liquidity or miss the move entirely.
The concept makes sense. The
execution doesn’t.
