JUST IN: OpenAI escalated its conflict with Elon Musk by asking the attorneys general of California and Delaware to investigate what it describes as improper and anticompetitive conduct.
The request comes just weeks before a key trial and adds new allegations of efforts to undermine the company in the race to develop artificial general intelligence.
OpenAI sent letters to the attorneys general of California and Delaware requesting an investigation into Elon Musk and his associates.
The company maintains that Musk has attempted to undermine OpenAI through legal and media attacks, as well as by coordinating with rivals.
