I accidentally came across this video on Bilibili: “A student at Xiamen University gets addicted to crypto trading, life collapses, drops out and runs away, breaks up with his girlfriend, and is deep in debt”...

I was surprised that domestic content creators are still using something like “crypto trading debt” as a traffic gimmick. Let’s break down what the person did:
1. He got into Xiamen University but didn’t graduate, and failed more than 10 courses;
2. He found a high-paying job, worked for half a year, then ran off—ending up going into a factory to screw in bolts...
3. The source of his information about cryptocurrencies was actually Zhihu...
4. When trading, he didn’t use stop-loss, used leverage, and played minute charts...
5. As soon as he got his paycheck, he went to open contracts—the most recent time was the evening before 10-11, when he recharged funds into it...
6. In a strong bearish trend, he used leverage to go long on altcoins, didn’t set stop-loss, and went to sleep...
The truth is that the life predicament he fell into has nothing much to do with cryptocurrencies, because I’ve also seen college dropouts who became big shots in the Sanhe market—some were addicted to buying lottery tickets, some were addicted to live-streaming and tipping gifts, and some directly got involved in online gambling...
But those things don’t attract attention; promoting the harms of crypto trading still gets more clicks...
This guy entered the market at the bull-run peak in 21. If he hadn’t gone around quitting his job later, and had been investing 20% of his monthly salary into BTC every month, then after the bear market in 22, he definitely wouldn’t have ended up like this...
In my view, the moment he gave up his studies in college, the road ahead was basically already set...
There are many, many people like this in the world, and there’s always a suitable place for them to go and lose money...
It’s just that he happened to run into the crypto market—a place where cognition comes first above everything else...
Yesterday, I also came across another post: after choosing Web3 for half a year, he successfully built a house for his family...
The lower the barrier to entry for certain things, the greater the potential risks...#加密市场小幅下跌 #加密市场小幅下跌
