🚨On-chain funds move again: Balancer hacker suspected to continue money laundering routes
On-chain data shows that Balancer-related attacker addresses have recently experienced fund movements:
👉 Transferring 5,609 Ethereum to THORChain, worth approximately $13 million
Looking back at historical events:
In November 2025, Balancer was hacked with over $116 million in assets stolen
The related attackers are widely suspected to be connected to Lazarus Group
The same type of fund routes are also believed to have crossover features with attacks related to Aave
Some funds are subsequently frequently cleaned on-chain through “mixing tools”
Overall, these funds are showing a typical pattern:
Cross-chain transfer → Dispersed addresses → Mixing tools → Re-aggregation
The on-chain world is transparent, but fund paths can still be continuously restructured through complex structures.
💡Inspirational Quote:
On-chain data doesn’t lie, but it also doesn’t give direct answers. The true truth is hidden in the trajectory of fund flows.
