Data shows that automated activity related to the keyword “crypto” has surged, generating over 7.7 million posts per day. Ki Young Ju pointed out that the X platform cannot distinguish between automated accounts and real users, and the paid verification system has become a mass messaging tool for bots. Nikita Bier, product manager of the X platform, responded that the visibility issue in the crypto community partly stems from users overposting low-value content, such as repeatedly sending “gm,” which dilutes the daily reach of accounts. In response to these comments, Ki Young Ju said that the X platform would rather ban crypto content than improve bot detection, which is very absurd. Currently, the X platform remains the main real-time communication hub in the crypto industry.
