The leader of the UK Reform Party stated that the party has started accepting Crypto Assets donations.
PANews reported on October 23 that Nigel Farage, the leader of Reform UK, stated on Wednesday that the party has begun accepting crypto asset donations, but he denied that this is a strategy to seek support from the digital asset industry by emulating US President Trump. At a cryptocurrency conference in London, Nigel Farage attempted to position himself as the “only hope” for UK crypto businesses. He revealed that Reform UK has received several crypto asset donations but did not disclose specific details. When asked if any crypto businesses were donors, he said, “As far as I know, no,” and mentioned that “there may have been some sponsorship from the conference.” Currently, Reform UK holds only 5 seats in the 650-seat parliament, but polls show they are in a leading position, with the next election set for 2029. Nigel Farage emphasized that he publicly supported crypto assets before Trump and mentioned that he has long held crypto asset investments, “occasionally having some fun when the market is good.”
