According to Mars Finance, Barron’s reported that the AML and Financial Crimes Division of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has launched an investigation into the encryption accomplice bank Anchorage Digital Bank. The company, which is backed by Wall Street capital, has publicly supported Trump’s policies in the digital asset sector. The investigation focuses on its compliance and financial transaction behaviors, and details have not yet been disclosed.
