YZi Labs invests in MEET48 to enhance the Web3 idol experience.

YZi Labs has just announced a strategic investment in MEET48 – a decentralized entertainment platform in the idol industry, part of the MVB (Most Valuable Builder) program of BNB Chain. The investment aims to support MEET48 in developing token-based fan interaction solutions, including virtual performances, idol management games, and real-life events.

Founded in 2022, MEET48 allows fans to have voting rights using the $IDOL token, receive exclusive NFTs, and interact directly with their idols. The project targets over 30 million fans across Asia, with a goal of globalization.

MEET48 gained attention after participating in MVB Season 8 – a collaboration program between BNB Chain, YZi Labs, and CoinMarketCap. The founding team includes seasoned figures in the entertainment and blockchain industries such as Wayne Zhang, Ken Xu, and Yoshiyuki Oe.

The new capital will help MEET48 expand its voting campaign, co-branding events, virtual idol performances, and especially the Web3 Idol concert taking place on August 2, 2025, in Hong Kong with over 300 idols and guests.
