Truth Social – the social media platform of Trump Media & Technology Group – has just revealed plans to issue a “utility token” to reward users of the new online streaming subscription package called “Patriot Package.”

The “Truth+” package is currently in beta testing, priced at $9.99/month, providing content from “non-awakening” news channels along with many other benefits. According to a notice from Truth Social, subscribers of the Patriot package will accumulate “gems” based on their level of interaction with the platform, and these gems will then be linked to a utility token operating on both Truth Social and Truth+.

Previously, in the letter sent to shareholders in April, Trump Media stated that it is considering the issuance of a utility token as part of the rewards program, allowing payment of subscription fees and other services within the Truth ecosystem.

Truth Social is enhancing its presence in the crypto space, having recently submitted applications for a Bitcoin spot ETF, a Bitcoin–Ether combined ETF, and most recently the “Crypto Blue Chip ETF” which includes BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, and CRO.
