Kanye West’s YZY Memecoin Faces Insider Dumping Allegations

Memecoin YZY by Kanye West has attracted more controversy than investors, as per data from Nansen. In total, 13 wallets have successfully made more than a million dollars by trading this coin.

Kanye’s memecoin, YZY, debuted on the Solana chain on August 21, gaining initial traction, and its market capitalization reached the $3 billion mark in under an hour.

The launch of Kanye’s has attracted controversies as market watchers argued insider trading and snipers, available data set notes that out of 1st 99 addresses that bought the YZY coin, only 9 hold as of now.

Nansen data notes that the biggest loser is the one who realized a loss of $1.8 million, with one other wallet that mirrored a loss of $1.2 million.

Data from Solscan(dot)io states that ‘AHYBvi……F1r7pd’ holds 270,000,000, followed by ‘2vHDec……jn1TC3’, which holds 18% of the total supply of YZY coin, ‘FYD4ET…….gE1dep’ holds 180,000,000, ‘FZF6JE………WMeEBW’ having 170,000,000 YZY tokens.

It is worth noting that an address ‘HV1KX………….PK7,’ has transferred 101,092.183319 YZY coin to Meteora Market, a reported OTC deal, 5PjQC9vsm………2KV has transferred YZY coin worth $88,879.25 to ‘HV1KXxWFas……P7K.’

There are currently 32,097 YZY holders as per SolScan, yet data from Dune Analytics notes that 56,000 wallets have interacted with this memecoin to date.

Bubblemaps said in its X post dated August 22, 2025, that it has identified the first buyer of YZY and said it is the same one who made $100 million at the time of the $TRUMP launch.

YZY was created on August 17, and all early transactions that followed were from team wallets. The 1st real purchase was made on August 21 when wallet ‘AwY1VTM……HJh bought $250k of YZY memecoins.
