GMGN market data shows that YZY once surged to US$3.0783 yesterday, corresponding to a market value of approximately US$3.078 billion. As of the time of writing, it has fallen sharply, but is still reported at US$0.827, corresponding to a market value of approximately US$827 million.

While YZY created another wave of get-rich-quick stories (and of course, more people lost money), the on-chain tracking protocol Bubblemaps discovered some different clues.

On the morning of August 22, Bubblemaps disclosed, based on clues contributed by Twitter user Vee (@RepeatAfterVee), that the first user to actually trade YZY was most likely the anonymous trader Naseem, who had previously made $100 million in profit by targeting TRUMP. What’s even more surprising is that in addition to TRUMP and YZY, Nassem also made considerable profits by targeting LIBRA and HAWK.

As early as February this year, Bubblemaps found traces of Naseem while investigating the Trump sniping situation.

At that time, Bubblemaps discovered that an address starting with 6QSc2 snapped up $1.09 million worth of tokens at the beginning of TRUMP’s launch, and then dispersed the positions to multiple addresses, ultimately making a profit of $109 million.

Afterwards, Bubblemaps discovered an address starting with 93Wb through the financial association between the addresses, and located the address to the Twitter account Naseem (@naseem) through Hyperspace.

Back to the latest timeline, YZY was originally created on August 17, and all subsequent early transactions came from the team address. The first real purchase occurred on August 21, when the address starting with AwY1V purchased $250,000.

Bubblemaps’ follow-up investigation found that there was an extremely high on-chain correlation between this address and Naseem’s related addresses, including addresses that directly targeted LIBRA and TRUMP. Therefore, it is certain that the address starting with AwY1V belongs to Naseem.

As of Bubblemaps’s publication, Naseem has sold $800,000 of his initial $250,000 purchase and currently still holds $600,000, but it is not ruled out that he has used other addresses.

Bubblemaps questioned this, stating that while Naseem’s sniping skills are undeniable based on on-chain records, this transaction has once again raised questions in the community: How did he become the first user to trade YZY? How was he able to consistently sniper every major token launch? Was this a skill advantage, or did he have some other knowledge?

Five hours after publishing its investigation into Naseem’s attack on YZY, Bubblemaps issued another statement: ” The situation may be worse than imagined. We have received a private message pointing to another sniper who shared funds with Naseem and collaborated on token sniping. There is an elite sniper group that does not compete with each other but works in collaboration to disrupt the price trend and profit from it. The incident is still fermenting. “

Below the Bubblemaps investigation, some users also posted other suspected insider trading clues related to YZY , such as a suspected insider named Mikey Shelton who publicly boasted about his trading “record” , but it is still unknown whether these clues are related to Nassem.

The mystery remains unsolved for the time being, but as clues continue to accumulate, perhaps time will soon tell us the answer.
