Sky community has launched a proposal vote for "MKR upgrade to SKY latency upgrade penalty".
According to Mars Finance news on September 19, an official announcement states that the voting for the implementation of a latency penalty for the upgrade of MKR to SKY has officially started. If the vote passes, starting from September 22, 2025, all operations of upgrading MKR to SKY will be subject to a 1% upgrade penalty. Thereafter, the latency penalty will gradually increase by 1 percentage point every three months.
