Fogo, a new blockchain built on Solana Virtual Machine (SVM), will officially launch its mainnet to the public on Thursday. The project, developed by former Wall Street executives, focuses on real-time trading with a target block time of 40 milliseconds, up to 18 times faster than throughput-optimized networks like Solana or Sui.

Coinciding with the mainnet launch, users can convert their “Fogo Flames” rewards into FOGO tokens. These tokens are listed and traded on major exchanges such as Binance, OKX, Bybit, Bitget, Gate.io, MEXC, LBANK, and Backpack. Previously, Fogo canceled its 2% pre-sale plan, instead opting for an airdrop and expanding its rewards program. Recently, the Fogo Foundation also completed a strategic sale of 2% of tokens on Binance, raising approximately $7 million USD.

Fogo’s mainnet will launch with around 10 dApps, including the DEX Valiant, launchpad Moonit, liquid staking protocol Brasa, and lending platforms like Pyron and Fogolend. According to Chainspect, Fogo currently leads in performance with a maximum TPS of 136,866 over the past 30 days.
