Abstract generation in progress

ING Germany (ING-DiBa), one of the largest retail and brokerage banks in Germany, has just opened access for customers to invest in trading products related to cryptocurrencies. Investors can now purchase Bitcoin ETPs (ETNs) along with many other ETPs linked to Ethereum, Solana—including products with integrated staking—and crypto index ETPs.

These products are offered by reputable issuers such as 21Shares, allowing investors to access the crypto market in a familiar way and within a legal framework. Notably, all transactions are conducted directly through the customer’s existing securities account at ING, without the need to open a digital wallet or use a separate crypto exchange.

ING Germany’s move reflects the growing trend among traditional financial institutions to integrate crypto products, aiming to meet the increasing and diverse investment demands from individual clients.
