BlockBeats News, February 5 — According to CME “FedWatch” data, before the U.S. initial jobless claims are announced tonight (21:30 UTC+8), the probability of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates by 25 basis points in March is 12%, and the probability of holding rates steady is 88%.

The probability of the Federal Reserve maintaining interest rates unchanged until April is 75.2%, with a 23% chance of a total 25 basis point cut, and a 1.7% chance of a total 50 basis point cut.

The next two FOMC meeting dates are March 18 and April 29.
