Odaily Planet Daily News: As early as June last year, “Trump Mobile,” part of the massive business empire owned by U.S. President Trump, announced the launch of the “Trump T1” phone. Up to now, people have almost given up hope of seeing it go on sale. However, a new report suggests that it will eventually be available to consumers. According to an interview with U.S. tech media The Verge, an executive from the company stated that there are still some modifications planned for this phone, such as removing the T1 logo. The American flag and gold color scheme on the back cover will still be retained. The specifications for the screen and camera will also be upgraded. The executive mentioned that, to reflect “quality improvement,” the price will increase. Some users who have already paid a $100 deposit will still need to pay the remaining $399, while subsequent buyers will face higher prices, but “not exceeding $1000.” The company also retracted its previous statement that the phone would be manufactured in the U.S., now saying that the “final assembly” will be completed in the U.S., while most manufacturing processes will take place elsewhere, though no specific location was disclosed. Trump's phone has still not been released to the market. The price will be increased, and it will no longer be labeled as "Made in America."
