ChainCatcher News, Gate hosted an institutional event themed “Gate Institutional Circle: CrossEx · Next-Gen Cross-Exchange Trading Infrastructure” at the Rosewood Hotel in Hong Kong, inviting nearly a hundred guests. Gate founder and CEO Dr. Han delivered a keynote speech on-site, sharing his insights on the trends in the evolution of crypto payments and on-chain financial systems.
Dr. Han pointed out that the expansion of stablecoin payments, crypto cards, and RWA essentially drives the reconstruction of settlement logic, asset forms, and trading time boundaries. However, issues such as fragmented multi-chain liquidity, insufficient cross-system collaboration, and limited fiat channels and foreign exchange efficiency still restrict the scale and globalization of on-chain finance.
He stated that the next phase of competition will no longer be solely about individual product capabilities, but about the comprehensive integration of liquidity, compliance frameworks, and multi-asset collaboration systems. Focusing on the integration of payment networks and traditional finance product matrices, Gate is exploring the development of an all-in-one infrastructure that supports 24/7 trading, cross-asset allocation, and global settlement to respond to the new cycle of deep integration between crypto and traditional finance.
