Obama Responds for the First Time to Trump's Prank Video: The "Sense of Shame" and "Courtesy" That Once Restraint American Officials Have Completely Disappeared

BlockBeats News, February 15 — Regarding the recent incident where Trump posted a satirical video on social media mocking Obama as an ape, former U.S. President Barack Obama responded for the first time on a podcast, saying that the “sense of shame” and “courtesy” that once constrained American officials are now completely gone. Obama did not directly name Trump, but he believed that the White House’s actions would backfire on the Republican Party in the 2026 U.S. midterm elections.

Earlier reports indicated that Trump’s social media account recently posted a racially discriminatory video targeting Obama. The White House stated that it was mistakenly posted by staff and has since been deleted.
