Insider: Dark Side of the Moon seeks to reach a $10 billion valuation in the new funding round

PANews February 17 News, according to Jinshi reports, in a funding round involving Alibaba (09988.HK) and Tencent Holdings (00700.HK), artificial intelligence startup Moon Shadow seeks to raise its valuation to $10 billion, aiming to capitalize on investors’ strong interest in Chinese AI model startups. According to sources, this company developing the Kimi chat robot initiated discussions for additional funding in late January to meet investor demand. Just about a month ago, the company completed a $500 million funding round at a valuation of $4.3 billion. Sources say that existing investors, including Alibaba, Tencent, and Wuyuan Capital, have committed over $700 million in the initial phase of the latest funding round.
