Opkey announces the launch of a new cloud application discovery and design automation tool, Opkey Design Studio. This studio focuses on automating and standardizing the complex processes of application discovery and design. Gray Gray, Vice President of Strategic Innovation and Excellence at Opkey, stated, “System integrators face pressure to deliver applications quickly within tight deadlines and limited budgets. Opkey Design Studio simplifies this process by automating tasks that traditionally require extensive manual effort and carry risks.”
Opkey Design Studio is built using a domain-specific model called Argus. This model is trained on decades of professional experience and over 200TB of data, enabling management of the entire application lifecycle. Its main features include automated generation of work instructions, design review, AI-based discovery capabilities, and end-to-end traceability. Through a virtual design canvas, designers can visualize and modify design plans via drag-and-drop.
Opkey’s competitive advantage lies not only in accelerating discovery and design processes. The platform can improve implementation speed for Oracle and Workday by up to 50%, reduce repetitive work, and accelerate project timelines. This provides system integrators with a competitive edge in bidding and delivers an exceptional experience for clients.
Miki North Risa from International Data Corporation noted, “Opkey’s intelligent AI approach has made substantial progress in addressing enterprise modernization challenges,” emphasizing that the platform enhances predictability and protects profit margins.
Opkey is a startup backed by venture capital, recently completing a $47 million funding round (approximately 6.788 billion Korean won), with key investors including PeakSpan Capital.
