PANews, February 27 — The Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held a meeting today. The meeting emphasized the need to continue implementing more proactive fiscal policies and moderately relaxed monetary policies, and to strengthen the coordination of reform measures and macroeconomic policies. Efforts should be made to build a strong domestic market, accelerate the cultivation and expansion of new growth drivers, and promote high-level technological independence and self-reliance. The reform of key areas should be further deepened, high-level opening-up should be expanded, and solid progress should be made in rural revitalization, new urbanization, and regional coordinated development. Greater efforts should be made to ensure and improve people’s livelihoods, accelerate the green transformation, and strengthen risk prevention and resolution in key areas and safety capacity building. The government itself should be strengthened, firmly establishing and practicing the correct view of performance.
