Iranian Foreign Minister condemns U.S. attack on Iranian warship

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian today (March 5) said that the United States’ raid on an Iranian warship in international waters will “ultimately regret the precedent it has set.” Abdollahian stated on social media that the Iranian frigate is a “guest of the Indian Navy,” carrying about 130 people, and was attacked in international waters 2,000 miles (approximately 3,218 kilometers) off the Iranian coast without any prior warning. U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said on the 4th that U.S. submarines sank an Iranian warship on the 3rd in the Indian Ocean with torpedoes, which was “believed to be sailing safely in international waters.” (CCTV International News)
