An independent miner successfully mined Bitcoin block 943,411, earning about $210k in rewards

Gate News message: On April 3, a Bitcoin miner who mined solo via CKPool successfully mined block #943,411 on Thursday, earning about 3.139 BTC in rewards (including the block subsidy and transaction fees), which is approximately $210k at current prices.

Statistics show that solo mining is still a low-probability event. Over the past 12 months, solo mining pools have mined only 20 blocks in total, earning about 62.96 BTC, averaging about one successful block every 18.7 days, with the longest interval reaching 58 days. The previous record was on February 28.

At the time of this block being found, mining competition continued to intensify. Bitcoin network difficulty previously saw its largest downgrade since February (about -7.7%); then it rebounded by about 3.87% within the next 24 hours.
