Apple will hold its 2026 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC26) from June 9-13, featuring a major AI focus with the unveiling of iOS 27's redesigned Siri codenamed "Campo." The new Siri will function as a comprehensive AI assistant, integrating with the Dynamic Island for seamless voice queries and introducing screen awareness capabilities that enable Siri to understand on-screen content and execute cross-app operations.

To compete with leading AI platforms, Apple will integrate Google's Gemini model and open the new Siri to third-party AI assistants including ChatGPT and Claude, while also introducing a CoreAI framework for developers.
