Baltic Dry Index Falls 1.6% Today as All Vessel Rates Decline

According to Guru Club, the Baltic Dry Index (BDI) fell 49 points to 3,005 today (May 20), down 1.6%, as all vessel segments recorded losses. The Capesize Index (BCI) declined 69 points, or 1.4%, to 4,880 points. The Panamax Index (BPI) dropped 85 points, or 3.5%, to 2,374 points. The Supramax Index (BSI) fell 2 points, or 0.1%, to 1,566 points.
