China's ChiNext Index Closes Up 2.99% on June 30 as Optical and Chip Stocks Lead

According to Jin10, on June 30, China's three major indices closed with gains, with ChiNext Index up 2.99%, Shenzhen Component Index up 2.48%, and Shanghai Composite Index up 0.5%. Combined trading volume across both markets exceeded 3.2 trillion yuan, with over 2,900 stocks posting gains.

Optical and photonic stocks led the session, with Tianshan Electronics among multiple stocks hitting daily limits. In the afternoon, chip stocks surged, with photonic chips and analog chips driving gains, including Long Light Huaxin and Full-Moned Microelectronics. Semiconductor and glass substrate concepts were also among the top gainers.
