CME: WTI Crude Oil, Silver, and Copper See Synchronized Declines in Volume and Open Interest on May 19

According to CME data on May 19, WTI crude oil futures trading volume fell by 517,666 contracts to 611,536, while open interest declined 6,136 contracts to 2,003,162. Silver futures volume dropped 10,696 contracts to 53,122, with open interest down 1,199 contracts to 100,753. Copper futures volume decreased 13,600 contracts to 57,421, and open interest fell 3,685 contracts to 258,303. The synchronized declines indicate cooled participation across these three commodities.
