edgeX Completes Compensation for June 2 Incident, Up to $100,000 per User

According to Odaily, decentralized derivatives exchange edgeX has completed compensation distribution to users affected by the June 2 incident. Eligible users whose EDGE long positions on edgeX Perp V1 or V2 were liquidated or triggered stop-loss between 4:50 and 6:00 UTC on June 2 can receive up to 100,000 USDC equivalent per user.

Compensation is distributed in two parts: 50% in USDC, now available for withdrawal, and 50% in EDGE tokens to be distributed in the first week of April 2027, calculated based on the 7-day TWAP at distribution time. The application period remains open until June 9 at 14:00 UTC; users who fail to complete registration by then will lose compensation eligibility.
