Google Cloud and Solana Foundation are co-hosting the 'Google Cloud X Solana AI Agentic Hackathon' focused on Solana-based Agentic Commerce. The event is organized by Ewha Womans University's blockchain club Ewha Chain, with domestic blockchain research firm Four Pillars participating as research partner. The hackathon aims to develop services where AI agents autonomously execute payments within pre-set limits without human intervention, utilizing Google Cloud's generative AI model Gemini and Solana's on-chain payment infrastructure including stablecoins, Solana Pay, and pay.sh.

The competition proceeds in preliminary and final rounds. Participating teams must submit projects by August 3, with approximately 10 teams advancing to finals through document and online evaluation. Finals take place on August 21 at Google Startup Campus in demo day format, where teams will demonstrate live products with functioning on-chain payments. AI and blockchain developers, as well as developers from institutions and enterprises, are eligible to participate.
