Indian Truck Driver Unable to Find Diesel at 16 Stations Over 80km on May 13

According to Jin10 data, on May 13, truck drivers in India faced severe fuel supply challenges, with one coal truck driver traveling nearly 80 kilometers and checking 15-16 fuel stations without finding diesel. The driver was eventually forced to stop as the fuel tank ran nearly empty. A fuel station manager stated that stations typically can meet only about one-third of demand before fuel runs out. The shortage stems from private fuel retailers cutting diesel sales or raising prices in response to rising international oil prices, straining state-owned refineries. India's Oil Minister Puri stated on Tuesday that no fuel shortage exists in India.
