According to Jin 10 Data, on May 8, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan discussed regional developments in a phone call. When addressing recent U.S. military activities in the Persian Gulf and statements from U.S. officials, Araghchi said American destructive practices are weakening diplomatic efforts and deepening Iranian public distrust of U.S. intentions.
