Japan's ANA and JAL to Raise International Flight Fuel Surcharges to 65,000-70,000 Yen in July-August

According to Jin10, Japan's All Nippon Airways and Japan Airlines decided on June 7 to raise international flight fuel surcharges for bookings in July and August, citing surging aviation fuel prices amid Middle East tensions. Current fuel surcharges on North America and Europe routes stand at 56,000 yen (approximately 2,363 Chinese yuan) per one-way ticket, expected to climb to 65,000-70,000 yen (approximately 2,743-2,954 yuan), potentially reaching record highs. Both carriers already increased June surcharges by over 70% compared to April and May levels.
