According to Kalshi co-founder Tarek Mansour, on June 1, prediction markets are disrupting traditional media for two key reasons. First, they reach audiences directly without intermediaries or filtering. Second, their incentive mechanism is inherently truth-seeking: correct predictions generate profit, while incorrect ones result in losses—something traditional media cannot achieve.
