Major Asset-Class ETFs Decline Broadly on May 15; Emerging Markets ETF Down 3.43%, Gold ETF Down 2.32%

On Friday, May 15, major asset-class ETFs declined broadly. Emerging markets ETF fell 3.43%, gold ETF dropped 2.32%, Barclays U.S. convertible bond ETF declined 1.94%, and Russell 2000 index ETF fell 2.41%. Nasdaq 100 ETF, agricultural funds, U.S. 20+ year Treasury ETF, and real estate ETF shed up to 1.51%, while S&P 500 ETF, soybean funds, and Dow ETF lost up to 1.20%. Among currency-linked funds, euro long fell 0.42% and yen long declined 0.26%. U.S. dollar index long rose 0.54%, while U.S. Brent oil price fund climbed 2.63%.
