According to 1M AI News monitoring, the open-source AI assistant OpenClaw (Lobster) has released version v2026.3.24. The Gateway has added /v1/models and /v1/embeddings endpoints, and now supports forwarding explicit model specification parameters in /v1/chat/completions and /v1/responses. Third-party clients using the OpenAI API format and RAG applications can directly connect to the OpenClaw Gateway.
Microsoft Teams channel has migrated to the official SDK, adding streaming 1:1 replies, welcome cards and prompt suggestions, feedback mechanisms, typing indicators, and native AI tags. It also supports editing and deleting sent messages. Other major updates include:
- Built-in Skills now feature one-click installation guides, with CLI and control panel automatically prompting for installation when dependencies are missing.
- Added --container parameter to support executing OpenClaw commands inside Docker or Podman containers.
- Agent /tools now displays currently available tools, with the control panel adding a real-time availability status panel.
- Slack interaction replies now restore rich text formatting, supporting automatic rendering of footer options as buttons or dropdown menus.
- Discord supports LLM automatically generating thread titles.
- The minimum Node.js version has been lowered to 22.14+, with Node 24 still recommended.
Security fixes in this version include patching a vulnerability that bypassed sandbox media directory restrictions via mediaUrl/fileUrl aliases, and fixing an issue where the Agent session might not correctly restore to the corresponding Telegram topic or Slack thread after Gateway restart.
