Tencent Launches Ardot AI Design Agent Platform Today, Supports IDE Integration via MCP Protocol

GateNews

According to Beating, Tencent launched Ardot, a self-developed AI design agent platform, today. The platform converts AI-generated designs into structured data and connects external IDEs directly via MCP (Model Context Protocol).

Ardot supports generating or modifying vector interfaces through natural language, importing Figma files, and integrating enterprise private component libraries to ensure generated designs comply with team standards. Design assets containing variables, components, and layout data can be read by development tools like CodeBuddy, Cursor, and Claude Code through MCP, allowing developers to generate frontend code directly in their IDE and eliminating traditional manual slicing and annotation workflows.
