Fundstrat co-founder Tom Lee flagged the ETH/BTC ratio as a "signal of a revival of crypto" on July 13 ahead of his WebX 2026 keynote in Tokyo. The ratio currently sits near 0.0282, having climbed from an early June low near 0.026, but faces a key technical test at 0.0286. Lee linked a sustained rise in the ETH/BTC ratio to Ethereum's potential outperformance in the current cycle, driven by stablecoin growth, tokenized assets, and clearer U.S. regulatory frameworks. The ratio needs to clear 0.0286 on a sustained basis for the revival narrative to move from thesis to tradeable trend.
