According to Bloomberg, VinFast Auto deputy CEO Anne Pham said the company expects to break even in Vietnam by 2027 during the Bloomberg Sustainable Business Summit in Singapore on July 22. The announcement comes as VFS stock gained 2% this month, outperforming Tesla's 10% decline, Nio's 5% drop, and XPeng's 1% rise.
The company's momentum is fueled by surging demand for its new VF 2 entry-level EV, priced at $7,139. The model attracted 29,000 orders within three days of its early July launch. VinFast delivered 115,916 vehicles in Vietnam during the first half of 2026, up 72% year-over-year, and is targeting at least 300,000 global deliveries this year.
