The institutional-level RWA protocol R25 launches rcUSD and rcUSDp on Sui.

BlockBeats news, on November 25, the institutional-level RWA protocol R25 officially introduced real-world assets to the Sui network, launching rcUSD (a Token supported by RWA) and its interest-bearing version rcUSDp. This collaboration enables regulated off-chain financial instruments to go on-chain on Sui, achieving on-chainization. rcUSD: a Token supported by RWA—backed by regulated, interest-bearing real financial instruments, pegged to a value of 1 USD; rcUSDp: a yield certificate Token obtained after holders stake rcUSD, with interest-bearing capability. Its yield sources include: the underlying RWA asset portfolio (such as tokenized money market funds), public chain incentives, allowing holders to continuously earn staking rewards. rcUSD and rcUSDp will be integrated with various DeFi protocols on Sui, bringing new on-chain yield opportunities, lending capabilities, and RWA-supported asset liquidity, further expanding the Sui DeFi ecosystem, which already exceeds 2 billion USD in TVL. This collaboration represents significant progress in bringing compliant off-chain assets on-chain, and rcUSDp is also one of the first interest-bearing Tokens supported by institutional-grade guarantees and real yield assets. For Sui, this is also a key milestone in driving TVL growth and introducing non-crypto native liquidity.
