#深度创作营 Traveling with Gate, today we visit the Jianshui Purple Pottery Museum. Amidst a thousand years of ceramic charm, the sharpness of the digital age gently collides with intangible cultural heritage craftsmanship.
In front of the gray brick and dark tile building, red lanterns sway lightly in the wind. I place the Gate Little Bull on the stone steps of the square—its black gold luster contrasting beautifully with the ancient architecture. The prominent G symbol on its chest is not only a sign of modern finance but also resembles a steady travel companion, witnessing the blend of tradition and innovation.
Inside the museum, the inscribed purple pottery cauldrons, painted porcelain vases with flowers and birds, white porcelain flower baskets, and landscape-patterned vessels are quietly displayed. From Ming and Qing ancient arts to contemporary innovations, each piece tells of the craftsmen in Jianshui’s pursuit of perfect firing and line work. I place the Little Bull next to the display case and on the marble counter at the front desk, letting its gilded patterns dialogue with the warm texture of the clay—like a story of craftsmanship shaping objects and strategy shaping profits, both fundamentally about a commitment to “precision” and “steadfastness.”
Sunlight filters through the wooden window lattice onto the exhibits, and the Little Bull’s golden horns shimmer in the light and shadow. The weight of purple pottery carries the story of Jianshui’s 1200-year-old ancient city, while Gate’s sharpness points toward future opportunities. As I leave the museum, the scent of clay still lingers in the wind. The Little Bull quietly rests in my palm, reminding me: whether in ancient buildings or digital waves, professionalism and patience are always the foundation of progress.
