Gu Jingci: 2.28 Bitcoin/Ethereum Morning Analysis

Bitcoin/Ethereum surged higher and then retraced from the highs of around 70,000 and 2,150, falling back to approximately 64,900 and 1,885 in the early hours. The overall retracement was relatively significant, but it did not break below the previous box's lower boundary, remaining within a wide-range oscillation zone. Last night, we planned to go long on retracements; after the dip in the early hours, we added to our positions, currently averaging around 65,500 and 1,920, and are still holding. The monthly chart is about to close, with nearly half a year's worth of monthly candles all closing in the red. The decline has been relatively large, but the long lower shadow on the monthly candles suggests the market may stabilize.

On the four-hour and daily charts, there is still some room for further retracement below, but the problem is not significant. As long as the box structure is not broken, the rebound and rally will continue. However, if the trend continues to break down, the situation will deteriorate completely. Over the weekend, with this oscillating downward trend, we will see if there can be some recovery and consolidation. Short-term support levels to watch are around 64,000 and 1,860. A break below these could trigger further declines. Resistance levels are at 68,000 and 70,000, as well as 2,000 and 2,100. Short-term breakthroughs are relatively difficult.

Morning trading suggestions: Buy near 65,000 to 65,500 for Bitcoin, with targets around 67,000 to 68,000; buy near 1,890 to 1,910 for Ethereum, with targets around 1,980 to 2,030.
