Gate News message, April 21 — BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) recorded $256 million in net inflows on April 20, equivalent to approximately 3,355 BTC. The inflow reflects continued strong institutional interest in Bitcoin spot ETFs.
IBIT led all Bitcoin ETFs by a significant margin on the day. Total Bitcoin ETF inflows reached over $238 million, marking the fifth consecutive day of positive flows. Cumulative inflows into Bitcoin spot ETFs have now reached nearly $58 billion. Across all spot Bitcoin ETFs globally, total assets under management exceed $100 billion, representing more than 6% of Bitcoin’s total market capitalization.
The sustained inflow pattern underscores institutional confidence in Bitcoin as a long-term asset. ETF products offer regulated access without requiring direct wallet or private key management, making Bitcoin more accessible to large investors. BlackRock’s IBIT remains the dominant player in daily flows and overall scale, though competitors like Fidelity and ARK Invest also continue to attract capital.
