WEEX Officially Announces that the first preliminary round (Early Bird Race) of “Alpha Awakening: WEEX AI Trading Hackathon” will start at 20:00 ( UTC+8 on January 12, with the deadline for this stage set for 20:00 on February 2. A total of 788 participants from around the world, including developers, quant teams, and tech communities (520 teams), are divided into 14 groups, competing using the official WEEX competition funds. The top 2 teams in each group will advance to the finals, competing for a prize pool of 1.88 million USD, with the champion receiving a Bentley Bentayga S valued at 500,000 USD.

Participants who missed the registration for the first preliminary round can register for the second round (Late Bird Race) via the “Late Bird Entry” before January 18. Successful registration and API testing will earn a 1,000 USDT position voucher (profits can be withdrawn, losses are borne by the platform). The second round runs from 12:00 on January 19 to 20:00 on February 2, with the top team in each group advancing to the finals.

This hackathon focuses on innovation in AI and quantitative trading strategies, recruiting global sponsors including AI service providers, data and infrastructure providers, Web3 project teams, and industry ecosystem partners. Currently, dozens of partners such as AWS, Tencent Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, Coingecko, and Cryptoracle have joined. During the event cycle, WEEX will hold 10 offline events worldwide, and will continue to amplify the event’s influence through multi-platform dissemination, community activities, and content co-creation.
